Johansson’s complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, argued that the dual release strategy of Black Widow had reduced her compensation, which was based partly on box office receipts from what was supposed to be an exclusive run in cinemas Scarlett Johansson, star of the Marvel superhero movie “Black Widow,” sued the Walt Disney Co on Thursday, alleging that the company breached her contract when it offered the movie on streaming at the same time it played in theaters. Folk singer Fakir Alamgir dies of Covid-19

Folk singer Fakir Alamgir, who emerged as a noted Gono Sangeet (songs that depicts the lives of the masses) singer for his outstanding contributions to inspiring the people to join the country’s 1971 Liberation War, passed away on Friday night, reports BSS. He breathed his last around 10:56 pm while undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Covid unit of the United Hospital in the capital city, according Alamgir’s family sources. He was 71. The prominent singer suffered a cardiac arrest around 10:00pm at the Covid unit of the hospital where he was undergoing treatment for coronavirus complications. At least 69 people in Canada’s Vancouver area have died in a record-smashing heat wave engulfing the west of the country and the US Pacific Northwest, police said Tuesday.
